Veritas High School will begin the year online on August 31st, 2020

We at Seeds of Health were prepared to open our schools for in-person instruction in the fall. However, the City of Milwaukee Health Department has issued its final mandate effective immediately restricting the opening of schools this fall. As a result, all Seed of Health schools (Grandview, Tenor, Veritas, and Seeds of Health Elementary) will be opening ONLINE beginning August 31st, 2020. When the pandemic began last spring, our schools were prepared to transition to online learning and when we begin the 2020 school year, our teachers will be even better prepared for online instruction and will address any concerns you might have regarding providing appropriate instruction for your child.

Coronavirus (COVID-19) School Closure through end of school year

On May 13, 2020, the Wisconsin Supreme Court lifted the statewide "Safer at Home" order. However, all public and private K-12 schools in Wisconsin are ordered to remain closed for the rest of the school year. Following this order, all Seeds of Health buildings will remain closed and students will finish the school year with virtual learning.

Veritas' Joe Neman travel proposal selected by Fund for Teachers for summer 2021

Veritas English teacher Joe Neman has been selected to explore the South African towns and cities described in Trevor Noah's autobiography "Born a Crime," experiencing first-hand the historic settings of the apartheid and learning how the people have used comedy and storytelling to present universal truths about the human experience, to ultimately teach students to do the same thing in their own communities.
