Principal's Message

Dear Friends,

Greetings on behalf of the Veritas High School Community. It has been my privilege to serve as a leader of Veritas High School since its inception and I take pride in our success in providing excellence in education to Milwaukee area students. Chartered by the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee, with an enrollment of 250 students in grades 9 through 12, the entire Veritas community is committed to our mission of preparing students for post-secondary education success through completion of an academically challenging, values based curriculum, in a safe and supportive environment.

The administration, teachers, staff, students and parents of Veritas work as a team to maintain a “culture of learning” where every student feels safe, supported and valued in an environment of respect.  Often referred to by our students as their “home away from home”, Veritas is that school where students develop positive relationships and learn from both their teachers and peers in core, advanced placement, elective and STEM classes. We have received local, state and national recognition as a top performing  high school and take pride in the accomplishments of our students, many of whom have received generous scholarships to cover their college tuition.

Preparing our students for post secondary educational opportunities is enhanced by our community partnership with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Metro Milwaukee. The Mentor 2.0 premier technology enriched mentoring program pairs Veritas students with college educated mentors from the Milwaukee community. Veritas and Big Brothers Big Sisters are committed to making sure our students develop personal, academic, and career skills by connecting them to personal and professional networks.

New for 2017-18 is our partnership with Microsoft Philanthropies. Computer Science Courses have been added to our curriculum with the introduction of the the “TEALS” Program” (Computer Science in Every School). Experts in Computer Science from the Milwaukee area are donating their time on a daily basis to team teach a Computer Science Course at Veritas High School.

I look forward to the start of the next school year and personally invite you to contact our school for more information.
