About Me
Torianna Serchen joined Veritas High School as a Spanish teacher in 2023. Before starting at Seeds of Health, Tori worked for two years as a teaching assistant at the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee, where she taught introductory Spanish courses.
She holds a Bachelor of Science in Spanish Education from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse and a Master of Arts in Spanish from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
When not working, Tori enjoys traveling, reading, being with friends and family, playing board games, and cooking.
“From my perspective, Veritas is a very unique place to work and I am so grateful I found it. I have felt seen and heard by administration when things just weren’t working, and when they are working. The connection between the kids and I feels strong, as they call me by my first name and show me the utmost respect and trust. I foresee a bright future for the World Languages department at Veritas and Seeds. I look forward to helping grow our program and providing our kids as many opportunities to grow in their World Languages education.”
