About Me
Torianna Serchen joined Veritas High School as a Spanish teacher in 2023.
Before starting at Seeds of Health, Tori worked for two years as a teaching assistant at the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee, where she taught introductory Spanish courses.
She holds a Bachelor of Science in Spanish Education from the University of Wisconsin–La Crosse and a Master of Arts in Spanish from the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee.
When not working, Tori enjoys traveling, reading, being with friends and family, playing board games, and cooking.
“From my perspective, Veritas is a very unique place to work and I am so grateful I found it. I have felt seen and heard by administration when things just weren’t working, and when they are working. The connection between the kids and I feels strong, as they call me by my first name and show me the utmost respect and trust. I foresee a bright future for the World Languages department at Veritas and Seeds. I look forward to helping grow our program and providing our kids as many opportunities to grow in their World Languages education.”
